1. The service
Mae is a subscription service that delivers custom AI and automation builds. You submit requests, we ship one active deliverable at a time, and you can queue more. There is no minimum term.
2. Subscription, billing & taxes
The plan you select renews automatically (monthly or annually) until you pause or cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep access until the end of the current period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods because work is performed on demand. Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required.
3. Pause & cancel
You can pause or cancel anytime from your portal. Pausing freezes your active request and your billing day shifts forward by the pause length when you resume.
4. Ownership (IP)
You own everything we ship for you — code, prompts, automations, datasets — on delivery. We retain rights to our generic internal tooling, templates, and know-how that pre-existed your engagement.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accounts, API keys, and data you give us access to, for the legality of what you ask us to build, and for keeping your own backups. You won't ask us to build anything illegal, deceptive, or that violates third-party rights.
6. Acceptable use
No spam, no scraping that violates a site's terms, no surveillance of people without consent, no content that's illegal in your or our jurisdiction. We can decline or stop work that breaks these rules.
7. Confidentiality
We treat your business information, source data, and credentials as confidential and only use them to deliver your requests.
8. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided "as is". AI outputs can be wrong — review before acting on them in production. We make no warranty that any specific outcome will be achieved.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced via email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
